Eno Vino

Trevor and I just tried a new restaurant Eno Vino on the west side of Madison. It was so good! It is really a tapas & wine bar. Trevor had an Old Fashioned drink and I had a red stiletto drink. It has vodka, white wine and sprite. Yummy. For dinner we had a Chicken Thai Flat bread and Chicken skewers with cilantro and lime sauce. For desert we had Creme Brule. I highly recommend it if you are on the west side of Madison. It reminded me of a restaurant in San Francisco. Thumbs Up!

Barbara & Obama

So my mother was lucky enough to know someone who was able to get her tickets to see Obama in Madison, WI. The event was closed to the public but she sat in the front row next to the Doyle's (Wisconsin Gov & his wife). She also checked off one item on her bucket list- to shake Obama's hand. When they sat her in seat the people next to her ask her who she was? She was just Barbara Phelps from Watertown Wi.

Look at how close she got. You can even see his gray hair. She thanked Obama for coming to Madison. Unfortunately, she didn't even get a picture of herself and Obama. Boo!
The speech was in Madison WI at Wright Middle School. Her funny story for the day was at one moment she was shaking the president's hand then next moment she was walking our dog Oscar and picking up his poop. Ahhh the highs and the lows for a Grandma.

ps. Oscar said thank you for walking him! Woof.
