Busy, Busy, Busy

This week is going to be a killer. First I have a huge project deadline for RMDH which includes 12 finish boards and rendered perspectives. Plus fly thru of the entire space. Thank goodness Silja is helping with the sketch-up model. I will miss her when she leaves Strang.

Next Trevor is out of town in Toronto- Sunday to Tues. Which makes me run around finding someone to watch Oscar. Tonight I even took Oscar to work with me from 8-11pm until I finished all my work.

Also I had an IIDA annual meeting tonight which I was sworn in as IIDA-WI VP of Communications. Now I am in charge of emails, website, newsletters and my favorite meeting minutes. While at the meeting my mother watched Oscar.

So tomorrow I have a meeting with RMDH to make the final selections and we are celebrating Trevor's dads birthday at Flemings. It also just happens to be restaurant week in Madison. I just love checking out new places.

On Wed I have to finish the boards to get them to RMDH and it is Hawaiian Day at Strang which includes a going away party for Silja! :( Drinks on the lido deck starting at 4pm. Then we are eating at Harvest and going to concert on the square. We will all miss Silja.

If that is not enough I have to find sometime to pack because we are leaving for Hawaii at 5 am on Thursday morning.

Sigh...I just have to make it to Thursday. I can do it.... hopefully?

Trevor and I are having a Summer party on Aug 9th. We usually have a birthday party for Trevor but since this year we will be in Hawaii for his birthday, We are just having a summer evening party. All of Trevor's good friends from High School will be in town so that is reason enough for a party. But in case anyone is concerned about me cooking. Don't worry we are getting it catered!

Now I just have to find a house cleaner before the party. If anyone has a great house cleaner that they would recommend please let me know. I have decided that I am sick of spending my weekends cleaning and would like to be out having fun rather than cleaning. My only sticking point now is finding someone I can trust with my house and with Oscar.

Dear Friends

So here it is! I have been reading my friends blogs and I just thought that I should start my own blog. I will try to keep it updated on a regular basis.

So this first blog is dedicated to my dear friends. Or more of the people that take a moment out of there busy day to read this blog.

I would like to highlight one dear friend... Andrea Johnson. Andrea was my friend back in elementary school (4th grade to 6th grade). She was my best friend but she moved away and we lost touch over the years. I have tried to locate her for over 7 years but because of the common name Johnson and name changes. I could never find her. I searched everywhere but I finally came to the conclusion that I will never find her until she found me. So I waited... Well here comes the happy ending. Andrea found me this month! She also had been looking for me but with my name change she couldn't locate me. Until she found my mother on facebook and messaged her. Well my mother quickly passed on the information and Andrea and I are now friends again. Not that we were ever not friends but we have found each other again! I was so happy to email with her. She now is Andrea Ramirez and lives in Germany with her husband Radley and two children (a boy and girl). As I talked to her I realized how similar we were. We both married our high school sweathearts. Our husbands seem very similar. She still has her great personality and is funny just how I remember her. I really missed her and now that she is back I feel like I just added another great friend to my circle of great friends!
